Data Deletion Request
If you would like to request deletion of your account and personal data, please send an email to hello@genzarate.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include your registered email address in the body, and your username if you have one.
If you use the Guardian Portal, you can also delete your account directly from your Guardian Portal settings.
We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation email once your data has been deleted or anonymised.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Personal data removed from our platform cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have backed up any important information before submitting your deletion request.
What Happens Next
When we receive your request, we verify your identity using the email address registered to your account. Once confirmed, we permanently remove your account and erase the personal data associated with it—including your profile, responses, and activity records held on our platform.
We aim to complete this within 30 days and will email you once the process is finished. Some information may be retained only where required by law. If your account is linked to an organisation such as a school, Institute, or employer, additional records held by that organisation may need to be deleted through them directly.
